To utilize “My Saved Search” in the library Discovery catalog, you must first Sign in to your patron account. Watch this short video tutorial for instructions: Sign in to your Library Patron Account.
Once you’ve signed in, conduct your search. Your saved search will include any limiting options you have applied. I recommend you do not include a publication year. I have found it easier to keep current by adding the current year after the search has been completed. Depending on how frequently you run the search, you’ll probably get results you’ve seen before.
When you’ve found a search query that gets you what you want, select the “Save Search” link from the column on the left under “Current Search” (see Image 1 below)

The next time you want to conduct the search, Sign in to your library patron account and then from the Sign in drop down menu, which now has your name, select “My Saved Searches” (see Image 2 below). Alternatively, after signing in, select the Saved Searches link in the blue banner (see Image 3 below).

Then simply click on the hyperlinked search query you wish to use (see Image 4) and the program will conduct the search for you.
