The Master’s Seminary 2024-2025 | Style Guide: A Guide to Turabian’s Manual for Writers is a concise formatting guide to properly preparing documents according to the seminary’s academic writing requirements. Students of The Master’s Seminary in all academic programs shall adhere
to the style and formatting requirements in Kate L. Turabian’s A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations: Chicago Style for Students and Researchers (9th ed., 2018), unless otherwise amended in the present document. The guide itself conforms to all the formatting rules herein, with the exception of single spacing in the text body.
This Style Guide governs the writing assignments of the following English-language academic programs at The Master’s Seminary: DipTh, BTh, MDiv, ThM, PhD, DMin. A corresponding Spanish-language Style Guide is available through the TMS Spanish Department.
