The Powell Library is happy to announce a new resource for students and faculty alike -- NICHE ACADEMY!

Niche Academy will help you WORK SMARTER NOT HARDER!

Niche Academy contains numerous instructional videos for using many of the Powell Library databases: EBSCO, GALE, Naxos, ProQuest and more. It also has video tutorials on Research Skills, Critical Thinking Skills, Using AI Ethically, U.S. Copyright Basics, and even how to use Citation Generators like Zotero.

Noteworthy Services

Book Scanning Service: The Copyright Law Fair Use exemption permits scanning of portions of books for scholarship, research, criticism, comment, parody and transformative use. Therefore, selected hardcopy book chapters/sections can be scanned and delivered electronically to current TMU students and faculty upon request. This service is limited only to those books available in The Master’s University Powell Library. Click here for details.

  • Controlled Digital Lending: Borrow a digital form of a physical book held by the Powell Library for your personal research, scholarship, commentary, criticism, teaching, or transformative use. Downloading, printing, copying or otherwise duplicating are prohibited. Click here for details.
  • Group Study Rooms: The Robert L. Powell Library is pleased to provide Group Study Rooms to TMU students, faculty and staff. Group Study Rooms are intended for student collaborative study, small group projects, small group instruction and small group meetings. Please see the GSR Policy Agreement for more details.
