*The Robert L. Powell Library*: Library ID Cards

Discover who we are and what we can do for you at The Master's University, Robert L. Powell Library.

TMU ID Card

Your TMU ID card also serves as your Robert L. Powell Library Card.  This ID card must be presented at the Circulation Desk when checking materials out of the library.  You will also want to download the Transact eAccounts app as it can be used everywhere on campus, except the library; the library still requires the physical card.

NEW TRAD STUDENTS: Your ID card will be put in your mailbox within a few days of your arrival on campus.

NEW ONLINE STUDENTS, FACULTY & STAFF: Please fill out the "Patron Registration Form" and send it to Miss T. at  JTILLMAN@masters.edu. You will need your nine-digit People ID number (aka System ID number) which can be found on Self Service: select My Profile then Account Information. All nine-digits are required, but not the "P" nor the dashes.  Also, you may make an appointment with the Circulation Manager, Miss Kyrie Sheridan to have your picture taken and print your ID card. Alternatively, you may send a headshot to ksheridan@masters.edu and your card will be printed when you come into the library.

New & Replacement ID Cards

A completed Patron Registration form will need to be submitted to the Circulation Desk before an ID card can be made. You will need your People ID number (aka System ID number) which can be found on Self Service (select My Profile then Account Information). Submit the completed form in person or email it to libcircdesk@masters.edu.

For faculty, staff and students, your TMU ID card also serves as your Robert L. Powell Library Card.  The Library ID card must be presented at the circulation desk whenever materials are checked out. Patrons may not use another person's ID card or Patron Account to check out items.

TMU ID cards also are required for chapel attendance, admittance to the fitness center and the cafeteria, but the library does not dictate policies at any other department.

TMS students may use their seminary ID cards to check out materials from the Powell Library. Please refer to "Borrowing Privileges" for details

Visitors desiring to check out circulating materials may apply for a Resident library card.  See the "VISITORS" tab above for details.

New Cards:

All new students, faculty, staff and alumni will be given one card at no charge. New online students, faculty, staff and alumni may schedule an appointment to have a picture taken and a new ID Card made.  Please contact the circulation manager at libcircdesk@masters.edu to schedule an appointment

Replacement Cards:

There is a $10 fee to replace ID cards, payable when the card is picked up at the library circulation desk.  ID cards that are broken or have been worn to the point that the photo, barcode and/or magnetic strip are no longer viable may be replaced without charge. Replacement ID cards may be pre-ordered by filling out this ID Request Form and emailing it to libcircdesk@masters.edu. Please allow two business days for fulfillment.

Please note: when a Replacement card is made, the original card is voided and no longer useful for entrance into the cafeteria, chapel or fitness center.
